Our Beefy Beginnings
In 1956, a Philadelphia butcher only known as Al developed a specialized crafting system to carve ribeye steaks. By helping restaurants control costs, improve speed and increase sales, Al helped to reinvent the foodservice industry. In time, Al’s company, Allied, expanded its product line while continuing to be a leader in Philly Steaks. Over the years, one thing has never changed: our commitment to be a great partner for our customers.
